Ist dieser Hype verdient?
Der geborene Kolumbianer lebt in Barcelona und gestaltete Videos für das Terminal 1 in Barcelona und verschiede TV-Kanäle. Etliche Demos, u.a. für die Deutsche Bank, Verpackungen, Wallpapers und Vieles mehr zählt auch zu seinen Arbeiten.
Eines seiner neuesten Projekte ist die Gestaltung der "Herbal Essences XXL" Haarpflege-Produkte von Procter & Gamble.
mu! ist fest davon überzeugt, daß die Kraft der Farbe und der Form ein besseres Morgen für uns alle schaffen können.
Ich habe ihn für WeHype per Email kurzinterviewt, hier seine Antwort:

It's pleasure to answer your questions :)
What gives you inspiration?
My inspiration comes from life, current affairs, the everyday little big things & rock music especially.
What are the messages?
The message is a metaphor of any weird concept that I may think while creating the illustration. I always try to relate it to current affairs or something very personal. At the end what I like is the input everyone makes out of it. Everyone has a different view of the illustration and I find that very rich, eventually it becomes yours, because most probably no one will have the same vision you have of it.
You say "Ideas are illusions, make them real, change the world!"
Ideas are the catalysts of tomorrow. If you have an idea that's worth, make it real. Sounds quite corny or maybe innocent, but I believe colour and shape can change the world. In the same way like a famous speech, a song or a movie can reach you. Art and design are a bridge to knowledge. One cannot expect to understand what was going on in Italy and the rest of Europe just by looking at the Mona Lisa, but it sure is a hook that should make u interest to find out more about the affairs in the renaissance era and how it is relevant today. Changing the world is truly personal process one has to undergo.
What is the technology behind your illustrations?
Technology: Well I use an iMac 27"
Software: Illustrator CS4/CS5

multitude : Ist zwar toll, aber mir ist jetzt nicht ganz klar was ihn von anderen Designern abhebt die ähnliches machen. knall-bunt hab ich eigentlich schon öfter gesehen. Was meint ihr dazu? wirklich tolle Designs, die Bilder sind sehr schön! Wieso hat der bei den Videos so ein komisches Format gewählt? Was war das in Barcelona, eine interaktive Projektion auf dem Boden?
